my favorites
This might just be my favorite image from the whole semester. I had a lot of fun making it in photoshop, and learned a lot , mostly through trial and error. I knew what I was going for from the start and really got into this assignment. I wanted it to be black and white, and to add the advisory symbol, and the dash through the title give it an edgy look. I chose the name for this album because I wanted it to relate to photgrpahy, using exposure. Tech: f/2.4 ISO-50 Shutter-1/148 FL-4.1mm
I took this photo because I wanted to appreciate the colors and their contrast on the flower. This assignment was symmetry with complementary colors, and seeing the purple and yellow got me excited! What I like about it is the shallow depth of field, and how good it looks when symmetry is applied. Tech: f/5.0 ISO-200 Shutter-1/80 FL-27mm
I chose this photo because I am proud of it. I like how nice the colors look, and how "crisp" the details are. There is a nice contrast from the hot pink flower buds, which are in focus, and the softer pink in the background. Learning the technical aspects of being able to control the depth of field was a huge accomplishment for me. Tech: f/5.6 ISO-100 Shutter-1/160 FL-55mm
This photo is one of my favorites because it is from early on when I didn't have much experience. I used rule of thirds and I think the colors in it are nice. What inspired me was simply what I saw, and I wanted to incorporate this flower in the assignment, which was framing. Tech: f/2.4 ISO-50 Shutter-1/310 FL-4.1
